美国著名大学杜兰大学设有6个方向的法学硕士项目。14年秋季入学的报名截止日期为14年5月1日。网上报名免交申请费,还可以申请奖学金
下面是LLM的具体的六大方向:
General LLM – Many students use the General LLM program as a way to study areas to which they had previously had little or no exposure, enrolling in courses in a variety of areas. At Tulane, these areas might include business law or intellectual property, among others. Please follow this link to review our LLM program view book.
LLM in American Law – This degree is intended primarily for international students who hold a first degree in law from a non-U.S. law school who wish to establish eligibility to take a state bar examination in the United States, where permitted by bar authorities. The degree will give students from foreign jurisdictions a thorough understanding of the fundamental principles of U.S. law and the American legal system, as well as an appreciation for law practice in the United States. Please follow this link to review our LLM program view book.
LLM in Admiralty - Tulane Law School is widely acknowledged to have the strongest maritime law program in the world. Tulane's location in New Orleans, one of the largest ports in the world, near the mouth of the Mississippi River and the outlet to the Gulf of Mexico, is a natural link to the maritime industry. Please follow this link to review our LLM program view book and this link to view our Admiralty brochure.
LLM in Energy & Environment - Since 1979, Tulane has taken a lead role in educating environmental lawyers. Our program offers the unique opportunity to study both environmental and energy law and to explore the interaction between these areas. Please follow this link to review our LLM program view book and this link to view our Environmental Law brochure.
LLM in International & Comparative Law - The breadth and depth of the comparative and international law curriculum at Tulane Law School provide an unparalleled opportunity for lawyers interested in the area. The international and comparative law program at Tulane emphasizes the distinctiveness of regional legal systems, national legal development, and the more traditional differences between major legal cultures. Please follow this link to review our LLM program view book and this link to view our International & Comparative Law brochure.
LLM in Law and Development - Tulane's brand new Masters in Law and Development welcomed its first graduate students in August 2013. The program draws upon two unique advantages: The first is the Law School's international renown and experience in the field of comparative and international law. The second is the exceptional Payson Center for International Development, the only center of its kind operating within a law school in the United States. Students in law and development will benefit from a unique combination of an integrated, multidisciplinary training. Studies toward the degree will include such courses as Law, Sustainability and Development, International Human Rights, Economic Analysis, Comparative Environmental Law, and Comparative Constitutional and Private Law.
Our application cycle just started and will continue through May 1, 2014. The $60 Tulane application fee is automatically waived for applicants who apply electronically through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) (preferred application method). Alternatively, applicants may apply by completing and submitting the PDF of our application found here.
